Christmas is coming, it's that time of the year.
Easter soon will follow, so all be of good cheer!
Christmas time around the world,
Is known by many names.
All of them are beautiful,
And share the Christmas fame.
For centuries this has been,
Let no one try to change.
For Christmas is for Christians,
Belief is not a game.
Muslims love their Ramadan,
The Jews their Hanuka.
The Christians have love,
For the one the call San-ta.
Multi culture may have it's place,
Within the western world.
Why has the Christmas flag come down,
And happy holidays been unfurled?
If everything is equal
And religious belief is free.
Why try and change our Christmas,
It's part of Christianity.
So Merry Christmas to you all,
Wherever you may be.
Happy Ramadan and Hanuka
To everyone and all of ye.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
From dusty desert and windswept plain,
To snowy mountain and icy rain.
Love and kindness fill the air
Merry Christmas and happy New Year.
From the cold heart of the north lands,
Comes a jingling once a year.
It travels through the Christian world,
Bringing happiness and cheer.
None will ever wind it down,
Nor destroy it's clock.
Christmas comes but once a year,
A heart that never stops.
In the Christian world, the show of love through giving, has since Christian beginnings, been the mainstay of Christian life. During my lifetime, it has appeared to me that there are three major religions acting in very different ways toward their followers about the same subject. Christians nave developed a love of giving, Jews seem to want to increase what they have and the Muslims just want it all. Atheists may have joined with the Jews and Muslims in this outrage against the Christians over Christmas [Happy Holidays] but I certainly hope not because children will be greatly affected by such decrepit acts. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL.
